How it started

I started freelancing as a front-end developer in 2009. My first project was the front end of an eCommerce store for an Australia-based business. Since then I have worked with clients in the countries listed below.

When you work with me, you are not working with a broker. As a programmer, I do the programming myself. These days I also build AI agents and automations that sit on top of the websites, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, and tools my clients already use.

WordPress is oxygen for me. I know it like the back of my hand. The websites are built with current tools and written as clean, organized code so they keep working for years. I also design layouts that stay easy to use on a phone and on a desk. Stores run on WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or the CMS you already use, with customer information kept safe.

I am the founder of SeoSiteSoft. Profiles for the freelance practice are LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, and Guru.

02 The practice

Values, toolbox, and clients

I work by four values. Innovative: I look to enhance my clients' productivity by providing innovative ideas. Prompt: my clients' success is my first priority, and I make myself available so there are no long lag times in our communication. Creative: I love to go beyond the website norms and showcase my clients' work with a creative approach. Smart: I keep up to date with the field and keep educating myself on the ever-changing world of technology.

I am technical, creative and easy-going, responsible, and attentive to details.

I work with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, PHP and MySQL, Laravel, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, React, React Native, Redux, AngularJS, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, plus GitHub, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot, and GoHighLevel.

Clients are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, Sweden, France, Norway, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Haiti. Email is mani@manikhan.com.

03 What you leave with

Deliverables

  • Code written by me: websites, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, agents, and automations.
  • A plan from the planning stage before that code starts.
  • A site or store launched on your domain when the job is a build.
  • Availability so communication does not sit in a long gap, as the prompt value states.

04 The recipe

Process

Every project goes through the same six stages. The steps below are how a website is built. Stores and automations go through those same stages.

  1. Step 01 — Discussion

We talk about the goals of the website. Once we know why you want a new site, we work together to identify the content it needs and the features it should have.

  2. Step 02 — Planning

Once I understand your needs, I create a plan to design and develop the website to meet your specifications.

  3. Step 03 — Design

Functionality matters, but good design makes a visitor want to stay. I work on the layout with responsiveness, a user-friendly experience and an aesthetically pleasing look in mind.

  4. Step 04 — Coding

The most specialized stage. I pride myself on writing clean, organized code, so you have a highly functioning website for years to come.

  5. Step 05 — Testing

I test the site internally first, then you test it on your end. Everything should work, and it should launch with no loading errors or bugs.

  6. Step 06 — Launch

The site goes live on your domain for the world to see. I hope you'll come back to me for future updates and digital marketing.

The six stages are how a project with me actually moves. I like long-term relationships, so launch is where the work together starts. Come back for updates and for digital marketing.
