One-off project, monthly support, or white-label

The engagements on this page are a one-off project, monthly support, and white-label work for agencies, WooCommerce and Shopify store owners, WordPress site owners, and small or medium businesses.

01 How we work

The engagements

01

One-off project

A one-off project is a website, WooCommerce or Shopify store, WordPress site, AI agent, or automation with a defined end. It moves through discussion, planning, design, coding, testing, and launch. The plan is written to meet your specifications. Online marketing and consulting can be one-off projects when the goal is a campaign or a first-steps plan.

02

Monthly support

Monthly support is ongoing work after launch. Launch is where the work together starts, not where it ends, and I hope you come back for updates and digital marketing. Use this when a site, WooCommerce or Shopify store, agent, or automation should keep moving after it is live. What the month covers is written into the quote.

03

White-label

For agency projects, I work white-label under your agency's name. The work is WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, AI agents, and automations. The agency is the buyer. A white-label job still has a goal, a deadline, and what already exists.

02 The quote

Quote, hours, and turnaround

Monthly retainer (100–200 hours a month): from $40/hour. Short tasks (a few hours): from $80/hour. Fixed-price projects: quoted per project, based on how technical and urgent the work is. Every engagement is quoted in writing before work starts.

I work with clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia and agree on overlap hours at the start of each project.

Turnaround is agreed in writing before work starts. Checkout work, when that is the job, covers the cart, the checkout, and the order path after payment on a WooCommerce or Shopify store.

03 What you leave with

Deliverables

  • A named engagement: one-off project, monthly support, or white-label.
  • A plan, from the planning stage, before coding starts.
  • The website, store, agent, or automation from the quote.
  • A written quote after you send the project details.

04 The recipe

Process

Every project goes through the same six stages. The steps below are how a website is built. Stores and automations go through those same stages.

  1. Step 01 — Discussion

We talk about the goals of the website. Once we know why you want a new site, we work together to identify the content it needs and the features it should have.

  2. Step 02 — Planning

Once I understand your needs, I create a plan to design and develop the website to meet your specifications.

  3. Step 03 — Design

Functionality matters, but good design makes a visitor want to stay. I work on the layout with responsiveness, a user-friendly experience and an aesthetically pleasing look in mind.

  4. Step 04 — Coding

The most specialized stage. I pride myself on writing clean, organized code, so you have a highly functioning website for years to come.

  5. Step 05 — Testing

I test the site internally first, then you test it on your end. Everything should work, and it should launch with no loading errors or bugs.

  6. Step 06 — Launch

The site goes live on your domain for the world to see. I hope you'll come back to me for future updates and digital marketing.

Discussion is where the engagement is chosen. Planning follows once the need is clear. Email mani@manikhan.com with the goal, the deadline, and what already exists.
