The engagements on this page are a one-off project, monthly support, and white-label work for agencies, WooCommerce and Shopify store owners, WordPress site owners, and small or medium businesses.
One-off project
A one-off project is a website, WooCommerce or Shopify store, WordPress site, AI agent, or automation with a defined end. It moves through discussion, planning, design, coding, testing, and launch. The plan is written to meet your specifications, which is the published planning stage. Online marketing and consulting, both listed on the homepage, can be one-off projects when the goal is a campaign or a first-steps plan.
Monthly support
Monthly support is ongoing work after launch. The homepage says launch is where the work together starts, not where it ends, and that I hope you come back for updates and digital marketing. Use this when a site, WooCommerce or Shopify store, agent, or automation should keep moving after it is live. What the month covers is written into the quote.
White-label
For agency projects, I work white-label under your agency's name. The work is the same work as the service pages: WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, AI agents, and automations. The agency is the buyer. A white-label job still has a goal, a deadline, and what already exists.
Quote, hours, and turnaround
Monthly retainer (100–200 hours a month): from $40/hour. Short tasks (a few hours): from $80/hour. Fixed-price projects: quoted per project, based on how technical and urgent the work is. Every engagement is quoted in writing before work starts.
Email mani@manikhan.com
I work with clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia and agree on overlap hours at the start of each project.
Turnaround is agreed in writing before work starts. Checkout work, when that is the job, covers the cart, the checkout, and the order path after payment on a WooCommerce or Shopify store.
Deliverables
- A named engagement: one-off project, monthly support, or white-label.
- A plan, from the planning stage, before coding starts.
- The build or the fix described on the matching service page.
- A written quote after you send the project details.
Process
Every project on this site goes into the same cauldron. The steps below are the process published for a website. Stores and automations go through the same six stages, and I use those stages on this service too.
Step 01 — Discussion
We talk about the goals of the website. Once we know why you want a new site, we work together to identify the content it needs and the features it should have.
Step 02 — Planning
Once I understand your needs, I create a plan to design and develop the website to meet your specifications.
Step 03 — Design
Functionality matters, but good design makes a visitor want to stay. I work on the layout with responsiveness, a user-friendly experience and an aesthetically pleasing look in mind.
Step 04 — Coding
The most specialized stage. I pride myself on writing clean, organized code, so you have a highly functioning website for years to come.
Step 05 — Testing
I test the site internally first, then you test it on your end. Everything should work, and it should launch with no loading errors or bugs.
Step 06 — Launch
The site goes live on your domain for the world to see. I hope you'll come back to me for future updates and digital marketing.
Discussion is where the engagement is chosen. Planning follows once the need is clear. Email mani@manikhan.com with the goal, the deadline, and what already exists.
Questions
Which engagement should I pick?
Pick a one-off project when the website, WooCommerce or Shopify store, agent, or automation has a defined end. Pick monthly support when you want the work to continue after launch. Pick white-label when an agency will deliver the work under its own name. The starting rates are listed above on this page.
How much does an AI agent cost for a small business?
Monthly retainer (100–200 hours a month): from $40/hour. Short tasks (a few hours): from $80/hour. Fixed-price projects: quoted per project, based on how technical and urgent the work is. Every engagement is quoted in writing before work starts. An AI agent for a small business is one defined job: it reads your pages, docs, or product data, follows the steps we agree, and stops when a person should take over. Email mani@manikhan.com with the job you want handled.
How is payment handled?
The starting rates are listed on the pricing page. Send your project details for a written quote. Payment handling is part of that written quote, and it is set before coding starts. The engagement is a one-off project, monthly support, or white-label work. Email mani@manikhan.com with the job.
What hours do you work?
I work with clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia and agree on overlap hours at the start of each project. Mani Khan makes himself available so there are no long lag times in communication. My clients' success is my first priority.
How does a project start?
A project starts when you email mani@manikhan.com or use the form on this site, and we discuss the goal before anything is built. Discussion identifies the content, the features, and the job to be done. Planning comes next, then design, coding, testing, and launch. You do not need a finished specification. The goal, the deadline, and what already exists are enough to begin.
What happens after launch?
Launch is where the work together starts, not where it ends. Monthly support is the engagement for work that continues after a site, store, agent, or automation is live. The starting rates are listed on the pricing page. Email mani@manikhan.com with what should keep running.
