WooCommerce and Shopify development is building or repairing an online store, including the cart and checkout a customer actually uses. It is for WooCommerce and Shopify store owners, and for agencies that need that store work done for their own clients.
Stores and the order path
Looking to sell online, I build WooCommerce and Shopify stores on the CMS you already use, with customer information kept safe. WooCommerce and Shopify are the store platforms on this page. Magento is named beside them on the homepage and stays available when the CMS you already use is Magento.
A paid order should create the record, the task, or the email your team expects. That is the bridge to automations. Checkout work covers the cart, the checkout, and the path after payment. Turnaround is agreed in writing before work starts.
How the store is built
WordPress is the base I know best. The homepage says WordPress is oxygen. WooCommerce and Shopify stores can sit with that work or on their own. PHP, MySQL, and the rest of the toolbox are how custom pieces get written when the store needs them. A theme name, a payment gateway, or a shipping plugin is chosen in planning for your store.
Agencies can take this as white-label development. For agency projects, I work white-label under your agency's name. The code is still written by me, not handed to a broker.
Deliverables
- A WooCommerce or Shopify store on the CMS you already use.
- Cart and checkout that a customer can finish, or a fix when they cannot.
- Customer information handled with the safety the homepage already states.
- An order path that can create the record, task, or email your team expects.
- Your own test pass after mine, matching the published testing stage.
Process
Every project on this site goes into the same cauldron. The steps below are the process published for a website. Stores and automations go through the same six stages, and I use those stages on this service too.
Step 01 — Discussion
We talk about the goals of the website. Once we know why you want a new site, we work together to identify the content it needs and the features it should have.
Step 02 — Planning
Once I understand your needs, I create a plan to design and develop the website to meet your specifications.
Step 03 — Design
Functionality matters, but good design makes a visitor want to stay. I work on the layout with responsiveness, a user-friendly experience and an aesthetically pleasing look in mind.
Step 04 — Coding
The most specialized stage. I pride myself on writing clean, organized code, so you have a highly functioning website for years to come.
Step 05 — Testing
I test the site internally first, then you test it on your end. Everything should work, and it should launch with no loading errors or bugs.
Step 06 — Launch
The site goes live on your domain for the world to see. I hope you'll come back to me for future updates and digital marketing.
Discussion names what the store must sell and what is already broken, if this is a fix. Planning is the specification for catalog, checkout, and the order handoff. Design is the layout on a phone and on a desk. Coding is the store itself. Testing is internal first, then yours. Launch is the store on your domain.
Questions
Can you fix a WooCommerce or Shopify checkout?
Yes, a WooCommerce or Shopify checkout fix covers the cart, the checkout, and the order path after payment. Turnaround is agreed in writing before work starts. The starting rates are listed on the pricing page. Email mani@manikhan.com with what the checkout does today.
Which store platforms do you build on?
This page covers WooCommerce and Shopify stores, built on the CMS you already use. The homepage also names Magento beside WooCommerce and Shopify. Checkout work covers the cart, the checkout, and the path after payment. Customer information is kept safe, which is the published promise for store work.
How do you treat customer information on a store?
The published store line is that customer information is kept safe. Agreed per project and written into the scope. Discussion covers what the store already collects, where orders are stored, and who can see them. Those points are written down before coding starts.
Can a WooCommerce or Shopify order create the next task or email?
Yes, a paid WooCommerce or Shopify order can create the record, the task, or the email your team expects. That sits beside the checkout work: the customer pays, and the next step happens without retyping. The exact apps in that chain come from the tools you already open. They are named in planning.
How does a project start?
A project starts when you email mani@manikhan.com or use the form on this site, and we discuss the goal before anything is built. Discussion identifies the content, the features, and the job to be done. Planning comes next, then design, coding, testing, and launch. You do not need a finished specification. The goal, the deadline, and what already exists are enough to begin.
How is payment handled?
The starting rates are listed on the pricing page. Send your project details for a written quote. Payment handling is part of that written quote, and it is set before coding starts. The engagement is a one-off project, monthly support, or white-label work. Email mani@manikhan.com with the job.
